FAQ's
From the time of your order to the delivery to your door it takes around 10-14 weeks. The order goes to the builder, the furniture is built and then finished to order, comes to our store in Halifax and then delivered to you. Every piece is made to your specifications and with a lot of care, this process cannot be rushed.
Yes, all the furniture is made of solid fine North American hardwoods - there is no MDF or Particle Board in KVADRO furniture.
We do a lot of customization. Pick one of our designs and your furniture will be built to your specifications such as wood and stain colour, hardware, size, edge profile etc.
Absolutely. All KVADRO furniture is handcrafted by the Amish woodworkers. We work with small Amish shops which we carefully selected to match our quality standards. Most of the shops are located in the Midwest of the US.
Kvadro Furniture website was founded with YOU in mind. We started it as a convenient online catalogue to show what we can do. But we can do much more than what you can find on our website. Joe grew up in a small Mennonite community in Nova Scotia. The woodworking gene runs in his family. Joe has been working in the wood cabinetry and high-end furniture industry for over 15 years. It shows. He has gained a reputation among our customers as the one who doesn’t cut corners.
Ayana Dueck, Administration and Sales
Ayana works in many different capacities, bringing her valuable input in the company's current and future operations. She is always full of ideas and loves to decorate. Joe and Ayana Dueck are proud parents to two children.

I meant to send you a note regarding the dining set. I haven't had a chance to give a good trial run with friends, but I do get to enjoy seeing it everyday. The craftsmanship is truly a work of art, and the finishing couldn't be any better. I wish I had space in my dining room to add more pieces to the set. It is so solid, that I cannot imagine ever having to purchase another dining room set. At first, it did seem like a long wait for the order, but it was well worth the wait. I have absolutely no regrets.
